Glamping Accommodations:

PAYMENT

• Full payment is due upon booking to secure the reservation.

No checks are accepted.

CANCELLATION TERMS

• Single cancellations must be made 15 days prior to the arrival date to receive a refund.
• A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for all single cancellations.
• Single cancellations made less than 15 days before the scheduled arrival date will be charged the full price at the discretion of management.
• No refunds will be issued for group reservations, after check-in, or for early departure.

No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

HOLIDAY CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellations for stays during the following holidays must be made at least 45 days prior to arrival to receive a refund (minus the $25.00 cancellation fee):

• New Year’s Eve/Day
• Easter Weekend (Thursday through Monday)
• Memorial Day Week (Friday before Memorial Day through the following Tuesday)
• July 4th Week
• Labor Day Week (Friday before Labor Day through the following Tuesday)
• Thanksgiving Week
• Christmas Week

RV SITE FAQS

Will my rig fit?
Yes! We created The Embers specifically to accommodate today’s modern-size rigs that are larger and have multiple slide-outs. Our larger sites are up to 110 ft+ in length. We offer pull-through, back-in, and buddy sites to choose from.

Hookups & Site Offerings
All of our RV Sites are full hookup, with water, sewer, and electric located at each site. A picnic table and fire ring are also provided for each site.

Monthly & Seasonal Stays
We have a small selection of monthly and seasonal sites available. Please call the office for rates and availability at (417) 297-0677.

GLAMPING FAQS

Temperature Control
All glamping tents and cabins are equipped with A/C and heating via a mini split unit. Please keep in mind that glamping tents have canvas walls, so they will not be as well insulated as a standard home.

Payment:
Full payment is due upon booking to secure the reservation.

Authorization:
By booking, the guest authorizes The Embers Glamping and RV Resort to charge the debit or credit card for all services rendered. The guest authorizes the resort to retain card information securely for future charges related to the stay (e.g., damage fees, extra guests, etc.).

Group Bookings:
Group bookings (2+ sites/accommodations) may be subject to custom payment terms and additional deposits. Please contact management for details.

We strongly recommend travel insurance, as refunds are not granted for weather conditions, illness, or personal emergencies.

Note: Holidays begin the Friday prior to the holiday and extend through the following Tuesday.

All guests and visitors are required to comply with local, state, and federal laws, as well as The Embers Resort’s policies and procedures. Guests are responsible for the conduct of their party and any visitors they bring to the resort. Parents and guardians are accountable for the actions of their children under the age of 18. Additionally, children under the age of 12 must be always accompanied by an adult while in communal areas of the resort. Any violations of these policies may result in the guest, or their party being escorted off the premises without a refund or compensation, at the sole discretion of The Embers Resort Management.

Registered Guests: The reservation includes a specific number of guests as indicated during booking. Any additional guests must be declared and registered with the resort prior to or at check-in.

Fees for Extra Guests: A fee will apply for each additional guest exceeding the number specified in your reservation. This fee is to be paid at check-in and is based on accommodation type and duration.

Maximum Occupancy: Each accommodation has a maximum occupancy limit. Exceeding this limit may result in refusal of accommodation or additional fees.

Visitor Policy:

• Visitors are welcome from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
• Overnight visitors must be registered before 7:00 PM.
• A maximum of 2 visitors per site is allowed unless pre-approved by management.
• Visitors are not permitted to use the pool unless pre-approved by management. Pool access for visitors is subject to seasonal availability and occupancy limits. Guest comfort and access take priority.

Responsibility for Extra Guests: Registered guests are responsible for the actions of their extra guests and visitors. Any damage or violations by extra guests may result in additional charges and/or termination of the reservation.

Non-Compliance: Failure to comply may result in immediate eviction without refund or compensation, at the discretion of management.

• Possession of prohibited items including firearms, ammunition, weapons, fireworks, and explosives.
• Unauthorized photography or videography for commercial purposes without prior written approval by management.
• Unauthorized use of drones or unmanned aircraft.
• Unruly, disruptive, aggressive, or dangerous behavior.
• Harassment, lewd conduct, or use of offensive language, gestures, or symbols.
• Inappropriate or offensive clothing.
• Irresponsible or disruptive intoxication.
• Smoking/vaping in amenities.
• Unauthorized fires outside designated areas.
• Trespassing into restricted areas.
• Theft, vandalism, or property damage.
• Unauthorized solicitation.
• Noncompliance with staff instructions.
• Noise complaints, even during non-quiet hours, may result in warnings or removal.
• All music or amplified sound must be turned off at 10:00 PM.

• Hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (seasonal exceptions).

• Registered guests only.

• No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

• Shower before and after use.

• No diving, running, horseplay, or fighting.

• No pets, glass, or food inside the fenced area.

• Small coolers only. No smoking. No carts or wagons.

• Floatation limited to infants/toddlers.

• Children under 13 must be supervised.

• Proper swimwear required.

• Guests must follow posted pool signage and staff instructions at all times.

• In case of emergency, use the red emergency phone by the bathhouse or call 911.

• Speed limit: 5 MPH.

• One vehicle per site included. Second vehicle (if space allows): $10 one-time fee.

• Boat parking (pull-through sites only): $50 one-time fee.

• Registered vehicles only.

• No ATVs, motorized scooters/bikes, Segways, or hoverboards.

• Pedal-assist bikes and mobility scooters allowed.

• Motorcycles allowed on paved roads only.

• No parking on grass, roadways, or empty sites.

• Visitor parking in front designated areas only.

• EV charging at power pedestals is prohibited unless explicitly approved.

Golf Carts:

• Guest-owned carts: $5 permit fee + proof of liability insurance.

• Drivers must be 16+ with valid license.

• Violations: $100 fine and/or loss of privileges.

• Resort carts may not leave the property.

• Located on Missouri Corp of Engineers land.

• Foot traffic only. No bikes or vehicles.

• Respect nature and rules.

• Be aware of wildlife. Stay on trail. Do not feed animals.

• Guests assume all risk of loss/damage. Carry your own insurance.

• Management is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

• Guests may be charged for damages discovered after check-out.

• Accidents or injuries must be reported to management immediately.

• Under Missouri law (RSMo 537.328), the campground is not liable for risks inherent to camping.
